luke and hannah met in january 2020. only a few short months later the world shut down in attempts to stop the spread of covid-19. both living alone and thinking the lockdown would only be for a few weeks they decided to make this flirting thing full time and quarantine together. that spring they spent countless hours walking around an empty city getting to know each other.

by late summer they had found a home; an apartment in a house between the streets of Alberta and Columbia (which hannah found an alarming manifestation that this alberta girl may have found a reason to stay in british columbia). this home has played host to friends and family from near and far, meetings to plan numerous adventures, holidays, movie marathons and is where in 2023 they brought home the little menace, sue.

now with sue, luke and hannah are still spending hours walking around. their sense of home has expanded through the neighbourhood and its haunts. they couldn’t think of anywhere more fitting to welcome you and celebrate their wedding than the neighbourhood they love that has held their love story.
